We strive to provide the highest level of service to our clients so our training is intensive and comprehensive. During the three day workshop, we will cover all the basics of home staging in both a classroom and practical setting. Then, during the month following the workshop you will participate in additional home stagings.
Some of the things we will cover include:
· Formula for a successful staging
· Types of Staging appointments: Consultations, evaluations, bids and proposals
· Basic Design principles including making the right color choices, furniture placement and scale
· How to stage an occupied home
- Low budget solutions: how to work with the sellers existing items
- Curb appeal: It Matters!
· Staging a Vacant home: with or without working with rental furniture companies
- Working with rental companies, selecting furnishings, movers
- How to stage a vacant home
- Managing your inventory
· Hands on experience with real sellers, actual homes and real estate professionals
· Hands on experience with staging design principles, scale, furniture placement
· Preparing bids, how to price your services, using contracts
After successfully completing the course, you will become a Selling Impressions Certified Staging Design Assistant (CSDA). You will then be staging homes in partnership with a CSD. Once you have completed a minimum of 4 stagings as an assistant, you will be eligible to become a full CSD. This interim period allows you to master the skills of staging before "going it alone". At Selling Impressions,llc, we are committed to helping you become a successful, confident Home Stager.
Other staging training courses merely run courses, then send you out on your own. We are there with you along the way!
